Infection Control Is Best Handled Outside

“Nurse, get this man some open air factor STAT!”

Staring back blankly, she simply raised one eyebrow.  “But this patient has Covid doctor.”

“Exactly nurse.  I already put in the prescription for OAF, please get on it.”

As he rushed off, she stared out the window.  Where was she going to find some of the recommended medicine?

Keep reading and find an effective way to fight infection.

What Is Infection Control?

A rather underwhelming definition on the CDC website states, “infection control prevents or stops the spread of infections in health settings.”

Hopefully you’ve just learned as much as I have.  Healthcare content writing at its best (insert eye roll here).

Regardless of the unclear definition from the CDC, this is no joking matter.  I want my wife and other family members in the medical industry to be protected when they go to work.

This is meant to ensure that happens.

Why Is Infection Control Important to Healthcare Workers?

Frontline workers are vulnerable to transmission of the diseases they are encountering.

But they understood the incurred risks when they joined the medical field.  One of many reasons why they are heroes.

Creating a sterile environment becomes the number one priority and ally in warring against invisible pathogens.

Infection Control in Hospital

The Joint Commission is the “nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.”

Their resources for hospital infection prevention and control are:

  • Hand hygiene
  • Vaccination

Perhaps there is a third option?

Spoiler alert!  I just happened to come across one I’m happy to share with you.

Natural Champion for Infection Control

Dr. Joseph Mercola wrote a very interesting article about a buried treatment for Covid patients.

Ready for the groundbreaking revelation?

Here goes nothing.  The secret treatment is GET OUTSIDE AND SOAK UP SOME RAYS!

  • In the 1960’s the term open air factor (OAF) was created to “describe the germicidal component of outdoor air that was capable of killing pathogens and reducing their infectivity.”

But what that generation didn’t realize was that God already knew about this.  Which is why He created it in the first place!

  • Related to our current virus, fresh air was proven to spare patients and staff from the worst of the 1918-1919 influenza pandemic.

Open-air hospitals and tents were the physical environment that brought about these findings. The article goes on to say the current layout for U.S. hospitals actually increases the rate of infection.

Hm. One can only speculate why medicine moved away from using these readily available elements.  Surely money factored in somewhere but of course this is me speculating.

I encourage you to read the full article from Dr. Mercola because it’s eye opening.

Medical content writing is the avenue for the industry to correct its mistakes.
